Self-confidence is crucial in life. Self confidence is not being afraid of making mistakes ,but realizing tomorrow brings new opportunities. It is the ability to have strong will power during hardship. When a person with confidence sees a fellow person in trouble, they step up and offer assistance. They do not shy away leaving that person in despair. Many of my fellow peers lacks this self confidence. They feel as if it is"someone else" duty to help that person in need. Recently, I saw a disheartening video that took place in the middle of the day of a man beating a woman. The suspect was easily outnumbered, however, not one single man intervene to stop such nonsense. In fact, most of the audience watch and record this incident on their phone. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sEQtVovlmUw
Self confidences is the ability to think smart(not stupid) and believing in that decision. One could make the decision to take a less dangerous route. For an example, an artist may be to shy in displaying his work. But, how could one become discovered if he do not have faith? Sure, he knows his own talents but do others have the abilities to enjoy his work? What is the point of having many talents if a person do not share at least one of them? That would be like living in a twenty three bedroom mansion by yourself. I am not saying the safe way is the boring way(perhaps, at least 99 percent of the world take that route). However, would it make for an interesting ride to find out what lays on the other side of the fence.
